Doing Good Here
Our Work in Britain
In Britain, the charity's work makes a difference to the lives of disabled, homeless and disadvantaged people who are often marginalised within our society.
Although the state provides for their basic care, we aim to enable people with a range of special needs or who are vulnerable to realise a better quality of life: one with dignity and opportunities to fulfil their potential within the communities in which they live and sometimes work.
Doing Good There
Our Work in Africa
Within eleven countries in Africa, our hospitals, health centres and clinics respond to the needs of desperately sick and malnourished people, children with disabilities, and people in urgent need of medical care and support.
Specialist mental health training for health professionals helps to de-stigmatise psychiatric conditions and ensures that the care provided becomes sensitive to local need.
